Sweet and Sour Fruit Cream Dessert
frosting buttercream sweet
A refreshing and creamy fruit dessert made with canned mixed fruits, peach, and toddy palm seeds combined with sour cream and sweetened condensed milk. Served cold, it’s a perfect treat for summer or festive occasions.
Ingredients
- Mixed Fruit (canned) – 1 can
- Peach (canned) – 1 can
- Toddy Palm Seeds – 1 can
- Sour Cream – 2 cups
- Sweetened Condensed Milk – 1 cup (adjust to taste)
Procedure
- Drain all the canned fruits and toddy palm seeds. If the pieces are large, cut them into small, bite-sized pieces. Rinse and place them in a strainer to remove excess syrup.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and well combined.
- Add the chopped fruits and toddy palm seeds to the cream mixture. Mix gently to coat all the fruits evenly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to chill and allow the flavors to blend.
- Serve cold. For an extra touch, garnish with shaved chocolate, nuts, or your favorite toppings.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk according to your preference.
- Optional additions include maraschino cherries, jelly cubes, or chopped nuts for extra texture.
